We felt it was important to capture more of what took place at the Nukuhau Underpass, in addition to the unbelievable murals created by Ross Liew, Rita Vovna and Koryu. When many of the other Graffiato artists finished their respective murals in town, they made their way into the middle of this 50m long underpass and went in spray cans blazing (including Ed Bats, Nick Lowry, Gemma Clough, Indy King and Sean Duffell). It’s an amazing mash-up of art from different genres all in one place. The key piece of the puzzle was when our Artistic Director went in after the festival ended to link the murals together with his distinctive Sean Duffell style. Go check it out!
