This Ross and Rita collaboration at the entrance to the tunnel is just one part of the incredible collage mural, known simply at the Nukuhau Underpass. It must be seen to be believed.

Tasked with painting their own entrance to this pedestrian underpass, the couple duo of Ross Liew and Rita Vovna created a striking display of lettering, floral arrangements and beautiful colours. Their mural draws you into a show-stopping arrangement of underground art that made Graffiato 2025 something of legend. If you have a chance, take the drive out to this quiet pedestrian underpass away from the busyness of town and silently take in the entire display in a slow and methodical way, marveling at a true timecapsule of what it meant to be part of our 2025 festival. "Times Like These", indeed!
