Meet SWEATS, his multidisciplinary work has spanned a wide variety of commercial and personal projects. He plays with an assortment of gestural mark marking, expressive techniques and materials. Shifting between screen, street and studio, he creates reoccurring styles of popping palettes and striking stencil features, using spontaneity and dynamic movement to build layers and engage emotion.
SWEATS has 20 years of experience working internationally in the creative arts, achieving industry awards in Aotearoa and Australia for design, winning gold at NZ Pride & Print. He was an engaging and exciting artist to watch at Graffiato, with his piece becoming one of our hero images of the 2023 festival.
