Sean Duffell has been a full-time Artist since 2003, predominantly painting large scale walls commissioned for private and public spaces as well as an exhibiting artist in galleries across New Zealand. His outdoor murals exhibit a vibrancy of colour along with a symmetry of design and challenge the viewer to look deeper into the imagery to discover the inspiration behind each piece.
Sean’s distinctive style of abstract shapes and intricately detailed patterns are his renditions of macro worlds derived from insects, birds and plants. Sean attends many Arts Festivals as well as consistently traveling for client-based commission work extensively across New Zealand and abroad. Sean has painted murals in Chile, Brazil, Cambodia, Thailand, Australia, Nepal and Europe. Sean is also the amazing Artistic Director of the Graffiato: Taupō Street Art Festival, and we couldn't be happier about it!
